By confirming a reservation at Citrus Haven, guests agree to the following terms and conditions.
Booking Confirmation
A booking is only confirmed once:
- Guest verification has been completed
- A signed rental agreement has been received
- Required payments have been made
Citrus Haven reserves the right to decline any booking that does not complete the verification process.
Guest Verification
All guests must undergo a brief identity verification process before a booking is confirmed.
This includes:
- Submission of a valid government-issued photo ID
- Verification of the booking guest’s identity
- The lead guest must be at least 22 years old and must be staying at the property for the duration of the booking.
Rental Agreement
A rental agreement must be signed prior to final booking confirmation.
Failure to sign the agreement within the requested timeframe may result in cancellation of the reservation.
Security Deposit
- A refundable security deposit of €200 is required.
- The deposit will be collected 2 days prior to check-in.
- The deposit will be refunded after check-out, provided there is no damage, excessive cleaning required, or breach of house rules.
- Any deductions will be communicated clearly with supporting details.
Payment Terms
Citrus Haven offers two payment options depending on the booking window.
Standard Payment (Bookings More Than 14 Days Before Check-In)
Guests may choose to pay in two instalments:
- 70% of the total booking amount is due at the time of reservation.
- The remaining 30% is due no later than 7 days before the check-in date.
Failure to pay the remaining balance by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking without refund of the initial payment.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made 7 days or more before the check-in date are fully refundable.
- Cancellations made less than 7 days before check-in are non-refundable.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.
Check-in & Check-out
Check-in: From 3:00 PM
Check-out: By 11:00 AM
Early check-in is complimentary where possible and subject to property readiness. It cannot be guaranteed in advance.
Late check-out beyond 2 hours after the scheduled check-out time will incur additional fees.
Fees will depend on availability and operational impact.
Maximum Occupancy
The maximum number of guests permitted is 4 as stated in the booking confirmation.
Additional overnight guests are not allowed without prior written approval.
House Rules
To ensure a peaceful experience for guests and neighbours:
Noise
Quiet hours are between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
Parties, events, and large gatherings are strictly prohibited.
Smoking
Citrus Haven is strictly non-smoking indoors.
Pets
No pets allowed
Property Care
Guests agree to treat the home with care and respect.
Any damage, breakages, or missing items must be reported immediately.
Guests may be held financially responsible for damage caused during their stay.
Security
Guests must ensure all doors and windows are locked when leaving the property.
Citrus Haven is not responsible for lost or stolen personal belongings.
Liability
Guests stay at Citrus Haven at their own risk.
The owners are not liable for:
- Accidents, injuries, or illness during the stay
- Loss or damage to personal belongings
- Circumstances beyond reasonable control, including weather-related disruptions or utility interruptions
Right to Refuse or Terminate Stay
Citrus Haven reserves the right to refuse service or terminate a stay without refund if:
- House rules are violated
- False information is provided during booking
- The property is misused or damaged
